We are delighted to share some fantastic news with our community — EVE Estuary HUB has successfully achieved the Green Flag for the Energy theme.

This is a significant milestone for our HUB, recognising the dedication, teamwork, and commitment shown by both students and staff in promoting energy awareness and sustainable practices in our daily lives.

A National Recognition

Adding to this achievement, we are incredibly proud to announce that EVE Estuary HUB has also been shortlisted as one of the Energy Schools of the Year 2026.

This honour highlights the outstanding efforts made across our community to reduce energy use, increase awareness, and inspire positive environmental change.

As part of this recognition, we have been invited to attend the Energy School of the Year Awards Ceremony:

At this special event, our Green Flag for Energy will be officially presented by Green-Schools, alongside the Energy Theme sponsor, EirGrid. It promises to be a memorable occasion celebrating the achievements of schools and centres across the country.

This accomplishment reflects the power of working together. From small daily actions to larger initiatives, every effort has contributed to creating a more energy-conscious and environmentally aware HUB.
