At EVE Estuary HUB, we have taken on the An Taisce Green Schools Daily Swaps Challenge by creating a video that brings everyday habits into focus. The aim is simple: identify the small slip-ups we all make and replace them with smarter, more sustainable choices.
Through a series of light-hearted but meaningful moments, the ZERO Hero highlights just how easy it is to make better decisions in our daily routines. From “Power Patrol” to “Laundry Lunacy,” no everyday mistake is left unchecked.
The swaps themselves are simple, but powerful:
● Turning off lights when they are not in use
● Saving water at the tap
● Only boiling the water we need
● Reducing food waste
● Trying meat-free meals
● Reusing items instead of throwing them away
● Adopting smarter laundry habits
Each of these small actions may seem minor on their own, but together they create a meaningful impact. That is the message at the heart of this year’s challenge, and the reason we chose to bring it to life through video.
