We are delighted to share the exciting news that Paula, Pauline, Leon, Maria, Tom and Derek have qualified to represent Team Eastern at the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games 2026, taking place in Dublin from 18th to 21st June 2026. This is a fantastic achievement and we are incredibly proud of all out athletes.

Between now and June our athletes will be training hard across a range of sports – including bowling, bocce and athletics – as they prepare for the Games where they also have the opportunity to qualify to represent Team Ireland at the 2027 Special Olympics World Games in Santiago, Chile – an amazing chance to complete in the world stage!
