Our Green Team have been super busy over the past couple of weeks helping to keep both the centre and the community a clean and green space for everyone to enjoy.

We have joined forces with Swords Tidy Towns and have ‘adopted a plot’ in Balheary Park, Swords where we go every week to ensure it is litter free.

We have introduced designated Re-Turn bins in the centre which are solely for plastic bottles and cans which will be recycled with the Re-Turn scheme.

We have also implemented new compost bins in both the kitchen and coffee dock to collect compostable waste which is transferred to our composting bins and used to make compost which is used in our garden and allotment.

To top it all off we have now developed a monthly newsletter which will keep everyone up to date with any green team news and updates.
