In preparation for Halloween our art group decided to try the TikTok viral trend of DIY candles however we took it to the next level and instead of using pool noodles to create the candles we recycled old giant steel pipes which had been lying in our store room.

To create the candles all you need is foam pool noodles/pipes, some cardboard, LED tealights and a glue gun.

Firstly, we glued our pipes onto a base of cardboard, We then used our glue gun to create a wax effect dripping down the candles. We then cut out small circular pieces of cardboard and cut a hole in the middle for the tealights to sit into, we then glued these to the top of each candle. Lastly, we sprayed it with black matt spray paint and VOILA!

We are delighted with the results!
