Recently a few of us visited Fingal Local Studies and Archives which is located in Swords. This was set up to collect, preserve and make available for reference material relating to the history and heritage of the County.
Many thanks to Brian who gave us a tour and explained to us the free services which we can all avail of at the Fingal library, you can also book an appointment to view newspaper archives for historical events, they also offer genealogy services. This is a great service for anyone interested in history or researching their family tree.
