This year for our annual Christmas art project our art group created ‘The Estuary Express’ train which was inspired by the Christmas movie ‘The Polar Express’.

We created the giant train structure mainly by sticking large cardboard boxes together, covering them with paper mache and painting them black. We then added in the gold details as well as a Christmas wreath and some lights to give it a festive feel!

We are delighted with the result and think it’s something unique that has helped bring a bit of Christmas magic to the centre!
