As part of our healthy eating programme, we decided to make a healthy breakfast/brunch granola.
This granola has no sugar and consists mainly of nutritious oats, seeds and nuts.
Ingrediants

8 oz Porridge oats (jumbo is best)

2 cups of Nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecan nuts etc.)

1 cup of Seeds (chia, sunflower, poppy, sesame etc.)

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
Method

Line a swiss roll tin with grease proof paper.

Pour a layer of oats evenly on paper.

Top with selection of nuts.

Top with selection of seeds.

Put 1-2 tablespoon of coconut oil on top.

Put 1-2 teaspoon of vanilla essence on top.

Roast in oven for 25-30 minutes at gas mark 4.
