The sun was shining and the forecast was looking good, so we jumped in the car and hit the beach. Some of us had never been to Bettystown. We loved the fact that you can drive right onto the beach.
It was a beautiful day. We enjoyed a long walk along the waters edge, beach-combing for interesting looking shells, ball games, races and some sandy sandwiches.
