As part of the arts module, we have been trying our hand at a bit of woodwork.
We had number of pallets in our store room, so we started looking up ideas for how to transform them into something useful. We decided that we could do with some garden furniture. These are our first attempts. We are also looking into painting them up, to make them look even nicer.
A wooden electrical spool also works well as a garden table. Umbrellas can be easily inserted into the hole in the middle.
We really enjoyed creating these benches and will definitely be making some more.
