This was a wonderful uplifting project that myself and another artist David Leahy worked on with Friends of Green spaces and DCC .It is all about the community and their the feedback was great..It was very cold and the local residents were so kind,offering us a cups of tea and giving us lots of encouragement. Friends of green spaces have put such a lot of effort into the communal garden ,and lovely individual window boxes on one of the blocks, Love where you Live,Live where you Love was a very strong message from the community.It was great to have been part of that positive energy, so many people spoke to us,and tourists were taking lots of photos as we worked on the hearts and later on the vacant flat fronts using Vermeer meets Flower Power Theme. I love community art and it was great to work on the project .Jean Doyle
