We would like to announce that our artwork titled ‘Finding Ouroboros’ has been selected by a panel of judges to represent a collection of ‘Outside Art’ that will be showcased during Culture Night 2013 in The Doorway Gallery, 24 South Frederick Street on the evening of Sept 20th, and the following two weeks after that.
The judging panel felt that our work epitomised the type of art that would open up viewers’ minds as to what best represents Outsider Art in Ireland? They were inundated with work (over 200 submissions) and selected just 15- 20 individual pieces from a range of outsider artists from the areas of mental health, prison rehabilitation, rehabilitation and the Traveller Community.
