“I have attended every the Electric Picnic festival since it began as a one day event back in 2004, before evolving into an amazing weekend-long festival. I have to say that I think this year may have been the best to date. The weather was amazing and everyone I met was so friendly. Being part of the festival also gave me an insight into the amount of hard work and passion that goes into creating a festival such as this. I would like to thanks all of the Body & Soul staff and all of the members of the artist group here in EVE Estuary for all of their hard work.” Rachel Kiernan

The response to our artwork was wonderful. People commented on how inventive it was of us to use the materials chosen, how stunning and beautiful it was, on how much it transformed at night and what positive vibes they got from the piece. A lot of people had their photograph taken beside our work.

‘Finding Ouroboros’ was situated in the holistic area of the Body and Soul section of the festival. There was a chill-out area just in-front of our piece which played gongs music and a yoga tent where they had daily lessons right beside us. Other activities around us included; the Bog Cottage’s Seaweed Baths and Steamy Sauna, the Zen Gardens, the Bathing Hot Tubs, Shamanic Healing, Indian Head Massage, along with various other workshops.

We have already begun to think about what to create for next years festival proposals. This experience was a real pleasure.
